Immaculate and beautifully appointed, the King Room offered the perfect cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. John and Kris's hospitality stood out, from the complimentary glass of wine upon arrival to the provision of fresh muffins and cookies daily. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring a scrumptious array of homemade options that truly started each day on a high note. However, some may find the stairs to the rooms a bit taxing after a tiring day out, and a wider variety of dinner options nearby would enhance the experience.

Had a fantastic 3-night stay! John and Kris made us feel right at home. Breakfasts were incredible—homemade fruit muffins and perfectly cooked frittatas every morning. Only downside? The stairs felt like a workout after a long day! Will definitely be back!

We loved our family suite—it was spacious and perfect for our little one to play around. The hosts, John and Kris, treated us like family, offering personalized tips on local attractions that made our trip even more enjoyable!
For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly dinner options available.

The beautifully preserved 1880s home exudes charm and warmth, providing an inviting atmosphere with well-maintained original features. John and Kris, the owners, were exceptionally hospitable, offering a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival and ensuring we felt at home throughout our 3-night stay. Breakfast, including delicious bacon and fresh-baked cookies in our room each evening, was a highlight that started each day on a high note. While the need to climb stairs to our room might be a challenge for some, the delightful ambiance and welcoming service make it worthwhile.

great atmosphere but limited breakfast options
The house is truly stunning and even more impressive in person. Our room was immaculate and had all the comforts we needed for a pleasant stay. The attention to detail in the decor creates an inviting ambiance that reflects the charm of the area. The garden view from the breakfast area enhanced our overall experience. We were welcomed warmly by John and Kris, who made us feel like family from the moment we arrived.
However, the breakfast offerings, while delicious, felt somewhat limited in variety.

Amazing breakfasts and cozy vibes
We had such a lovely stay for 3 nights! The king room we had was super comfy, and we loved the fresh muffins each morning. John cooked us the most delicious breakfasts—had scones one day and French toast the next! Only thing was the stairs to our room were a bit much after a long day out.
